Blue And Grey - Union Soldier

Hobo nickel carvings #89, Blue And Grey - Rebel Soldier, and #90, Blue And Grey - Union Soldier, were carved as a set. The nickel carvings are done on 1937 Buffalo Nickels with a Civil War Theme. The obverse of the nickels are carved with bearded Confederate and Union soldiers wearing kepi (caps). The reverse of the nickels feature Confederate, Stars And Bars, and Union Flags. Nickels are signed and numbered on the coin edge "AA 89" and "AA 90."
