Carved on a 1935 Full Horn Buffalo Nickel nickel is "Mack." Mack is sculpted with a wonderful grin, facial expression, broken and crooked nose, and bags under his eyes. He is wearing a fedora style hat with striped hat band, a suit and bowtie, and is smoking a cigar with a 24 karat yellow gold ash.   SOLD

Crockett Buffalo Nickel - Reverse Of Crockett

#99 Crockett

Carved on a 1929 Full Horn Buffalo Nickel is Hobo Nickel Crockett. Crockett is shown as as rough and tumble mountain man / frontier man and has sculpted facial features, a full beard, and is wearing a coonskin cap (skinned raccoon cap). The raccoon's head and tail are fully defined, with the raccoon's tail sporting clearly visible stripes. The tail is resting on Crockett's shoulder while gently wrapping around his neck.   SOLD

Carved on a 1929 Full Horn Buffalo Nickel is "Sonny." Sonny has nicely sculpted facial features. He is wearing a textured cap and smoking a cigarette. Smoke is rising from the cigarette. The background has been carefully removed and the field of the coin is clean. Coin is darkened for contrast. Nickel is signed and numbered AA 98 on coin edge.   SOLD

Carved on the reverse side of a 1936 Buffalo Nickel is "Happy Hour." Happy Hour is a Hobo comfortably sitting next to a jug of moonshine, smoking the remains of a cigar. The background is relieved and lightly stippled. The cigar ash is inlaid copper. The smoke is inlaid 24 karat yellow gold. The nickel is signed and numbered AA 97.   SOLD

Penny pincher, a happy, smiling, bald Hobo who just found a shiny, new penny is seen holding that new penny in one hand while holding his hat, a banded Fedora, in the other.
