This is a reverse carving on a 1937 Buffalo Nickel. Carving is the front view of Engine #12. Engine is featured pulling out of The Montville Conn. Stop. (Home to nickel carver Amy Armstrong).

I have this piece. It looks better in the hand. Coins and knives are very hard to photograph. This is one of my favorite pieces, I have about 25 in all from good to top engravers.
